AI Transparency
Last updated: March 20, 2026
At inTrial, we believe in being transparent about how artificial intelligence is used within our platform. This page explains what AI services we use, how they interact with your data, and the safeguards we have in place.
AI Services We Use
inTrial Manage integrates with Anthropic’s Claude models, including Claude Haiku 4.5, to power AI-assisted features within the platform. These features include:
- Case summarization and analysis
- Document review and extraction
- Intelligent search across case data
- AI-assisted drafting and note-taking
How Your Data Is Handled
When you use AI-powered features, relevant data from your cases or documents is sent to Anthropic’s API for processing. We want you to know:
- No model training: Your data is not used to train or improve AI models. Anthropic does not use API inputs or outputs for model training.
- Data retention: Data sent to Anthropic’s API is temporarily retained by Anthropic for up to 7 days for trust and safety purposes, after which it is automatically deleted.
- Encryption: All data transmitted to and from Anthropic’s services is encrypted in transit.
- Access controls: Only data relevant to the specific AI feature you are using is sent for processing. We do not send your entire case file or account data.
User Control
AI features in inTrial Manage are tools to assist your work, not replace your judgment. You are always in control:
- AI-generated content is clearly identified as such
- You can choose whether to use AI-assisted features
- All AI outputs should be reviewed by a qualified attorney before being relied upon
