Client Texting

Text your clients. From inside their case.

Your clients don't check email and they don't answer calls — but they respond to a text in under three minutes. inTrial puts two-way SMS right inside each case, with templates, scheduled sends, and automatic logging so nothing falls through the cracks.

Included in your subscription. Standalone tools charge $40–75/user/month for standalone legal texting.

Frequently asked questions

How does texting work inside inTrial?
Each firm gets a dedicated phone number. From any case page, you can open the texting panel, pick a contact, and start a conversation. Inbound messages from clients appear in real-time and are automatically matched to the correct case. Every message — inbound and outbound — is logged to the case timeline.
Do we get a dedicated phone number?
Yes. Your firm receives a dedicated local phone number that you can share on business cards, letterheads, and client communications. Clients text that number and their messages route directly into inTrial, matched to their case.
Is texting TCPA compliant?
inTrial includes built-in opt-in flows so clients consent to receiving texts before you send them. Clients can opt out at any time by replying STOP. All opt-in and opt-out events are logged for your records, giving you a defensible compliance trail.
Are there additional costs for texting?
Texting is included in your inTrial Manage subscription at no extra charge. Standalone legal texting platforms typically cost $40–75 per user per month on top of your case management software — with inTrial, it is built in.
Is there a limit on the number of messages?
inTrial includes a generous monthly message allocation that covers normal firm usage. High-volume firms or firms running large bulk campaigns can purchase additional capacity. There are no surprise per-message fees for regular case communication.
